1. Where are you located & how long have you been photographing weddings?
I am out of Portland, Maine & I have been photographing weddings since 2004.
2. How many weddings have you photographed?
My gosh, I am not sure I have done so many. It must be around the 150 range. That's a heck of a lot of friends I have made in that time. Bride & Grooms are always lifelong friends in my book.
3. Why should we go with you & not a good friend that has a nice camera & will photograph our wedding for less than you or just a much less expensive photographer?
The reason you should go with me is that I am a professional. My prices reflect my quality. I always say you get what you pay for. If you want to let a friend do your wedding for less then you will get less quality.
There is a lot to photography. Not just owning a nice DSLR camera & clicking the shutter button. I have been to school for 3 years studying photography. You need to now about lighting, flash, posing and know about when things are going to happen before they do so you can get great pictures.
How Is the less expensive friend or photographer going to deal with equipment malfunction, rain, really harsh sun light on a bright day, controlling large bridal parties, no flash aloud in a church, lighting up large reception halls and the list goes on. I know how to deal with all this stuff and these are questions you need to ask any photographer you plan on booking.
